What is BICOM Bioresonance Therapy?
BICOM® Bioresonance works on the principals of quantum physics, and the premise that the cells in our body communicate bio energetically (with frequencies). External stressors, such as allergens, pathogens and toxins can disrupt cellular communication on a biophysical level. This in turn effects the biochemical processes in the body and disrupts its ability to self-heal, often resulting in the development of physical symptoms.
The BICOM can be used to identify the external stressors. Bioresonance therapy can then be applied by using specific frequency patterns to eliminate the toxins. Therapeutic frequency patterns are also applied, helping the body regain its ability to self-heal.
Bioresonance Therapy is a non-invasive, pain-free form of complementary medicine, which is safe for all ages. It can be applied to both acute and chronic conditions.
Bioresonance therapy is beneficial on its own, or when used alongside other modalities such as, but not limited to conventional medicine, cancer protocols, osteopathy, chiropractic, acupuncture, naturopathy, herbal medicine and homeopathy.
Therapy on a bioresonance machine does not cure an illness; it assists the body to reduce its toxin or stress load and so helps to restore ‘self-regulation’, allowing the body to heal itself. Bioresonance therapy should not replace any medically proven diagnostic or treatment technology.
As a patient you will be connected to the BICOM device during the treatment session and can sit or lie in a totally relaxed position.
The BICOM OPTIMA
At Christchurch Bioresonance we use the BICOM® OPTIMA.
Manufactured in Germany, the first BICOM® device was launched in 1987. Since then, the Bioresonance method has been continuously developed in conjunction with experienced BICOM therapists (doctors & non-medical practitioners), with new technology being released on a regular basis.
In 2021 there were more than 17,000 BICOM® devices active in over 90 countries worldwide. Of these devices, 55% are owned by doctors, and 45% by naturopathic practitioners and alternative therapists.

Sandra Isaacs
Sandra’s first encounter with BICOM® Bioresonance Therapy was a personal one. A successful diagnosis and treatment of a dairy intolerance in her 3-year-old son, resulting in elimination of his eczema, was enough to pique her interest.
At the time, Sandra was living in Turkey and had recently completed a Diploma of Clinical Herbal Medicine, through the International College of Herbal Medicine in Gisborne, NZ. She started working as a herbalist at Turkeys primary BICOM® Bioresonance Clinic, which led to an 18 month internship as a BICOM® practitioner. During this time, she attended monthly seminars on advanced applications of Bioresonance Therapy, gained hands on experience treating a diverse range of health conditions using the BICOM® OPTIMA, and in 2010 attended the International BICOM® Congress in Germany.
In 2011, after living in Turkey for 15 fabulous years, Sandra returned to New Zealand, where she set up Christchurch Bioresonance. She completed the NZ Certificate of Bicom Bioresonance Therapy, and again in 2013 attended the International BICOM® Congress.
Sandra is excited to see an increased awareness of Biophysical Therapies. People are actively seeking Bioresonance as part of their wellness journey, through word of mouth, referrals and/or recommendations from their International Doctors.
Outside of work Sandra enjoys her weekly art classes, walking with Trixie (her little dog with a "big dog" bark!), reading books, and hanging out with her two teenagers (when they allow it!). She still has an adventurous streak and likes to explore new places (local and international) when she gets a chance.
